Michiho Fukumori (b. 1975) is the eighth-generation head of Doraku, an Iga kiln her family has run since the Edo period. Trained as a chef before joining the family kiln in 2003, she is best known for donabe clay pots and tableware shaped by a cook's eye — vessels made for the stove as much as the table.
