Our story

When you visit new places and meet new people, do you find yourself asking “how did they make that?”, “where did they find that?”, “how can I make my sanctuary feel like this?” Us too. So we started exploring, learning and collaborating with creative people around the world. In that process we learned new skills and found our own look and feel for art, architecture, ceramics, food, wood and interior design.

Our influences lean Asian and mid-century modern, but we try to stay away from labels and categories. What interests us is how a space or a piece makes you feel, and how it ties into the intention behind it.

We are a Silicon Valley tech couple who chose to mindfully slow down and give back in a socially and environmentally conscious way. We make our own small-batch ceramics, designed and built our own home, and have remodelled many others. The materials and processes we choose are thoughtfully considered so our environmental footprint stays as small as possible.
