“Kai” means sea in Hawaiian. Many Hawaiian names use the word kai, either as simply Kai, or Kekai (the sea), Kailani (heavenly sea), Kainani (beautiful sea), and so forth. For us, Shiki Hill also has many meanings. We are sharing our vision of seasonal spaces that reflect peace and harmony with living, be that in the hills of Napa or on the Big Island of Hawaii.
